Normally there are no 50″ atv trails in South Dakota, but on the Hardy Drive you may run into Wyoming 50″ trails. However, there are many great trail-like Forest Service Roads to ride on either side of the border.
AFTER A GREAT DAY OF RIDING, STAY AT THE CREEK – WHITETAIL CREEK RESORT.
A Wyoming ORV permit is required for all enrolled roads, routes, and 50″ or less trails designated for ORV use. Street legal ORVs are only required to purchase a Wyoming ORV permit if operating on a 50″ or less trail.

The Hardy Guard Station, and the Rifle Pit cabin are two historic buildings to watch for during your Hardy Ride.

There are no 62″ width restrictive trails but there are numerous 50″ trails.
Connecting rides are; Cement Ridge Ride, Crooks Tower Ride and Red Lake Ride.

Parking is available along Rifle Pit road or if you prefer at the Red Lake Trailhead.
