The Richardson Trailhead is one of three Forest Service ATV Trailheads of the Martin ATV Trail System. Although there are 52 miles of 62” trails connected to Richardson Trailhead, I travel from there, West on trail-like Forest Service Roads.

AFTER A GREAT DAY OF RIDING, STAY AT THE CREEK – WHITETAIL CREEK RESORT.

Jump Off Cave is so name because it may have been used as a Buffalo Jump.

RALLY with us at the STURGIS OFFROAD RALLY.

The scenery is great, the trails are little used and there are good destinations, worth visiting.

A great place to stay and ride straight to the trails, is MYSTIC HILLS HIDEAWAY RESORT.

There are no width restrictive trails on the Richardson Ride.

Connecting rides include; Bluebird Ride, Jasper Ride, Jewell Ride, Hawkright Ride and Elk Mountain Ride.

Parking is available at the Richardson Trailhead.

  1. The Black Hills have great ATV trails and Forest Service roads. I have traveled most of them. Our forest service roads are either road-like or trail-like. On my Favorite Rides pages, I have highlighted the many TRAIL-LIKE Forest Service Roads.

I put this website together to help others enjoy their ATV visit to South Dakota. When I ATV out of my state, I realize how difficult it is to plan a three day ride without good information. I hope my website will be good information for you.
