A great set of trail-like Forest Service roads that takes you into the heart of the 2000 Jasper fire area. Here you will see more of the Black Hills than anywhere else, because the old trees are gone and small seedling now take there place. The rock outcroppings and valley areas are more visible here.

RALLY with us the weekend of Sept 10-13, at the STURGIS OFFROAD RALLY.

You will also see a very diverse set of trails that take you through draws, and then up on the ridge line.

MYSTIC HILLS HIDEAWAY RESORT OFFERS A GREAT STAY, AND ABILITY TO RIDE DIRECTLY TO THE TRAILS.

In the area of the Jasper ride are the Agate Beds and the Jasper Cave.

Choose a cool day to make this ride because in places shade trees are spaced far apart.

  1. The Black Hills have great ATV trails and Forest Service roads. I have traveled most of them. Our forest service roads are either road-like or trail-like. On my Favorite Rides pages, I have highlighted the many TRAIL-LIKE Forest Service Roads.

I put this website together to help others enjoy their ATV visit to South Dakota. When I ATV out of my state, I realize how difficult it is to plan a three day ride without good information. I hope my website will be good information for you.

Over 1000 visitors a month use this website. Let us know what you think about Black Hills atving!
