(map showing approximate location of the ride, in the Black Hills)

Except for a few short trails at the trailhead, on this ride you are on Forest Service roads. These tail-like roads will take you into some beautiful Spearfish Canyon-like views. This is especially nice during fall leaf turning time. Iron Creek Lake and Iron Creek are two features you should watch for.

RALLY with us at the STURGIS OFFROAD RALLY.

Watch for the popular Crow Peak.

A great place to stay and ride straight to the trails,  is MYSTIC HILLS HIDEAWAY RESORT.

The Harrison-Badger-Trucano Game Production Area may provide you additional trails to ride.

Water features include Iron Creek, and Iron Creek Lake.

AFTER A GREAT DAY OF RIDING, STAY AT THE CREEK – WHITETAIL CREEK RESORT.

There are a small number of 62″ width restrictive rides on the Spearfish Quarry Ride.

FOR ALL YOUR UTV RENTAL NEEDS, VISIT DEADWOOD OUTDOOR RENTALS.

Connecting rides include: Cement Ridge Ride, Red Lake Ride and Stageyard Ride.

Parking is at the Spearfish Quarry Trailhead.

  1. The Black Hills have great ATV trails and Forest Service roads. I have traveled most of them. Our forest service roads are either road-like or trail-like. On my Favorite Rides pages, I have highlighted the many TRAIL-LIKE Forest Service Roads.

I put this website together to help others enjoy their ATV visit to South Dakota. When I ATV out of my state, I realize how difficult it is to plan a three day ride without good information. I hope my website will be good information for you.

Over 1000 visitors a month use this website. Let us know what you think about Black Hills atving!
