A visit to Rochford will let you experience old buildings still being used. And this area has old gold mines, and a beautiful South Dakota creek. We take Castle Creek road West to Rochford. It is a beautiful drive that is often capsized with a burger and coke at the Moonshine Gulch Bar.
We park our ATV’s in a parking area just West of Rochford. From there you can go East to the Castle Peak area or West to the trails around Whitetail Peak.
