From Prairie Dogs to Prairie Ox (Prairie Dogs, Pronghorn, Coyote, Mule Deer, Elk, Bison) wildlife is a feature of this part of the ride.

If you have time, visit the Cave that the Park is named for; Wind Cave.

RALLY with us at the STURGIS OFFROAD RALLY.

As you leave the park on the West, you will enter into the National Forest and some nice, challenging trail-like Forest Service roads. Watch for Highland Creek, Rankin Ridge Fire Tower, and the Cold Springs School.

Built in 1887, the Cold Springs School building is one of the oldest log school buildings in South Dakota.

The Gladys Nell Mine is evidence of mining activity in the area.

Highland Creek and Beaver Creek are water features to watch for.
