The trail follows the path built for an old mining flume to bring water from Sheridan Lake. The loop takes you past artifacts and tunnels constructed for that reason. The loop is actually the Upper Spring Creek Trail and part of the Centennial Trail #89. There is a moderate incline. Watch for Spring Creek, Sheridan Lake and the spillway.
